"MBBS-2017 Forensic medicine course teaching Video Show"
In order to promote the construction of MBBS curriculum in the School of Forensic Medicine of Kunming Medical University, and to do a good job in opening up education to the outside world in the new period of our school,the activity of "MBBS-2017 Forensic Medicine course teaching Video Show" was held in the evening of April 18, 2019 in the Report Hall of the forensic building.
Yang Bingbing, the vice president of the College of International Education, Qu Yongqiang, the dean of the School of Forensic Medicine, Nie Shengjie, the vice president of the School of Forensic Medicine, Li Zhen, the teacher in charge of MBBS teaching, professor of the Faculty of Law, Yuxi, Li Wenfu, director of physical evidence and teaching and research, Faculty of Forensic Medicine, Zhong Shurong of the Department of Physical Evidence and criminal investigation, school of Forensic Medicine, and served as judges. Students at level 2017 MBBS actively signed up to carry out the teaching video show "campaign with full enthusiasm.
Professor Li Zhen for this competition to do the preaching, in Li Zhen teacher wonderful speech under this competition successfully opened the curtain of the activity. The teachers are watching the students ' video of the participating in earnest. Vice Dean Nie Shengjie of the Faculty of Law announces the results of the competition. The 2017 class MBBS class was divided into six groups to participate in the event, the video names were mechanical injury (group I), mechanical asphyxia (group II), poisoning (group III), homicide (group fourth), sudden death (group fifth), hanging and strangulation (group sixth). This international student teaching video show activities, 2017 class MBBS students with colorful, unique form of show for the present judges teachers and students gave a wonderful performance.
In these activities, it is easier to enhance the students in the MBBS curriculum of forensic expertise and professional skills, through the video show activities of the medical school to effectively implement the requirements of schools, to promote the Kunming Medical University Law School of Medicine MBBS curriculum construction, in order to do a good job in our school in the new period of education to open up the goal of further, we have strengthened the training of students with an international perspective and the construction of their teams.
Finally, this “MBBS-2017 Forensic science course teaching video Show” Activities successfully concluded. I believe that the future "MBBS Forensic medicine course teaching Video Show" activities will be more distinctive, and make greater progress.
This activity has served to be also a way of honoring every grade type of students even the most creative and academically talented students by providing them equal platform and putting them at equal footing. Not every student is the same but they are special in the ways, we might not understand.Through this activity, we find some hidden talents in the students who are very active or might be inactive or not interested in taking part in other activities. Hence, by letting them perform this a "MBBS-2017 Forensic medicine course teaching Video Show" activity, we help such students to come out of their shell and also shine with the others by creating a sense of confidence in them.
Your grades doesn’t define you is the motto of this activity. We are here to encourage all the students to be happy and learn something through this activity. We should honor the student’s efforts for this activity. They have learned a lot through this activity. Even though,we know that it was exhausting, might also look time-consuming but a lot of hard-work was involved from the student side. Every credits should be given to the students and their splendid contribution to this field of science. We are grateful for their determination and also participation.
Because of their amazing talent and creativity and also visions, we must congratulate each of them and there is no winners in this event as every student is unique and capable in their own different way and we shall push each of them towards achieving their goals in their life by motivating them and also giving them chances to enhance their development and personality. This activity is also like a award show for the “C” grade students who might be highly creative and also this can help balance the grading system distributed among the A level, B level and C level students.
The Teaching system can be modified and improved through this and also we promote the slogan that says.” Every student is capable, no one is here less intelligent than the other and also, we should cooperate with each other and have a healthy competition. Don’t judge anyone’s ability to shine or may they can improve in the future with support and proper guidance.“We hope they have learn a lot about forensic medicine and its application. They made us really proud and we are thankful to them for agreeing to do this activity.
Through this activity, the whole class can get to know each other well and their bonds may strengthen. They dismiss their differences and enjoy their flaws and perfections and be appreciative towards each other. We promote a sense of progressiveness and emphatic outlook in students as they will become future doctors who will serve mankind. Even, we must give our special thanks to Miss Robina Singh, a student of Kunming medical university batch 2015, who is serving as a teaching assistant for this field and also helping us to organize such events and also become a mentor for this batch letting them a clear-cut view about this activity and how they can do it. This is the third time, we have done this activity and we have been really successful.
We already did this activity with 2015, 2016 and now 2017 batch. Every batch was great and special. We give them our warm wishes for the future and also, hope that they become great doctors as they are all equally talented and smart. Thanking to especially, 2015 batch who firstly decided to go ahead with this activity and because of each and every student in that batch,we were able to create a guideline based protocol for the later batch and also, 2016 batch was highly cooperative by following the former class and also admired their merit. Finally, this activity has provided us a beautiful memories that we and the students have spend together. We will cherish these memories with them. Memories are the most magnificent perception any human can have in their lifetime. We are lucky to have a happy memory and so these lovely students.
